OK thanks for the replies. I did want to ask the dealerships because they told me I had to use the cams that came in the 117 kit, & I wanted to use the bigger cams I already had in my bike ( 1 guy told me it would cause the bike to have too much compression SMH) so I called & asked if I could stick 117 jugs on my CVO if I already had the SE585 cams & they said it would be fine.
So I am selling my buddy the cams ,lifters, bearings & gaskets out of the kit & didnt know if he could use the jugs & pistons also
The problem with the 259E is that it needs compression.. If your buddy uses that cam to build a 110 / 107 with ported heads, I'd bet the build is a screamer.. Have em set the CR to somewhere between 10.8 and 11 to 1..
You'll be looking at the guy's license plate a lot..
I am installing them myself & I dont care about the warranty. LOL It was cheaper to purchase the kit than get parts separate.
Just saying your buddy can buy the 110" cylinders and pistons for about $1100, add your cams, lifters, bearings and gaskets that I am sure you will sell cheap, have his heads ported and set up for the compression per bwoltz's post and have good runner.

I believe the only way he could use the cylinders is to open up the bore on the case.
