Default 103 to 110 question

Anyone know if CVO 110 jugs & pistons will bolt onto a 103 without any machining. I bought the 117 SE kit for my CVO & wonder if I can hook up a friend with that owns a 103 & just bolt on like my 117 kit goes on my 110.

Nope.. Cylinder spigot is too big. HD makes a kit with thin spigots like the 117 kit for 110s that will bring a 103 out to 110 tho.

If it's not a CVO I really doubt it. If that was the case I would have upgraded to 117 instead of 110.

OK thanks for the replies. I did want to ask the dealerships because they told me I had to use the cams that came in the 117 kit, & I wanted to use the bigger cams I already had in my bike ( 1 guy told me it would cause the bike to have too much compression SMH) so I called & asked if I could stick 117 jugs on my CVO if I already had the SE585 cams & they said it would be fine.

So I am selling my buddy the cams ,lifters, bearings & gaskets out of the kit & didnt know if he could use the jugs & pistons also

Run.......

BS on your Dealership! Your Bike, Your Choice!

I running GMR 577 Cams in my 117. Some folks running big woods, Tman, cam etc, etc.

While Some folks have swapped out SE259s for SE585s on THIER 117" kits with some really good and not so good number.

Good luck with your build, you'll be stoked!

The 110/117 bolt in cylinders and pistons can be purchased separately. Every dealer is different on warranty with aftermarket cams but most will insist on the SE cams to honor any warranty.

I am installing them myself & I dont care about the warranty. LOL
It was cheaper to purchase the kit than get parts separate.
