FNG here
Hey guys, new here! Pretty excited about this new adventure. Wanted to get some opinions. I just bought a 1998 Softail Custom for $2k it's been rode hard and has an engine knock in the front cylinder. The previous owner thinks it might be valvetrain related. Here is a video. I plan on doing a compression test Sunday. I hope I can get her back up and running on the cheap butttttt we'll see

Can't open the link.... Also you might be better off posting in the classic Evo section.... If you make like 8 more posts you should be able to do a YouTube video..

WOW, don't start it again. That's a serious knock. Possible wrist pin bushing. Time to tear it down for sure.... There are a lot of guys over there that will guide you in the right direction..That is what we do in EvoLand.....
