95" 11:1 compression producing big low end torque, is it possible?

95" 11:1 compression producing big low end torque, is it possible?
I have a 95" twin cam with 11:1 compression
I have no idea what cam is in it the motor, but the set up sucks
I cant stand riding it, all the powers at the top end and it barley runs in gear in the mid 2's with is really where id like my power to be ( a cam that preforms around 2000 - 3500/4000 is what I'm looking for )
I'm going to change my cam no matter what, but i'm also considering dropping it down to 10:1 as well. I'd prefer however to save the money by finding a cam that will preform the way I want it to with the set up I have now. I can't seem to find what i'm looking for, so I'm trying this site.
at 11.0-1,your not going to find any low RPM,TQ cams.scott`s recommendations are good, along with S&S .583`s set @ 9.8-1 or even .570`s set @ 10.2-1 (the 570`s wont have a super low hit,but fit in most people`s riding RPM range,2000-5500)
What exhaust are your running?
You might just be a pipe/cam/tune away from being happy.
Do the heads say screaming eagle on them? Done a CCP test?
I'm going to do a compression test this weekend, I still have to buy the tool. I just put a bassani road rage on, it actually did improve the performance over the vans and hines pro pipe that was on it.
I'm going to go to a gear driven cam set up, have not decided on the cam yet, I'm hoping when I do the compression test it comes out at like ten and a half not 11, if not ill be doing the pistons, as far as I can tell from what pretty well everyone had told me, i'll never build the tire killer I'm looking for at 11:1
