Default 98" Kit Questions

Thinking about doing the 98" kit With Stage one heads from Hillside. I currently have S&S 509 cams will they work or should I upgrade those as well. and if I do what cams should I look at. I have an 01 TC 88 with MM efi and a PC-V for Tuning. Cureently running a thunderheader. Should I get a different exhaust as well? I am looking maybe for 100/100? Is that a good number to shoot for?

The 509 will "work" but if having head work done, might as well upgrade the cam set to take full advantage of the new configuration; Scott will have some cam recommendations for ya. I don't see any need to change exhaust and 100/100 is easy with 98"; with a good tune, you will see more. You need to find a tuner that knows how to work with the MM EFI to get the most out of the build; maybe you already have that covered.

You'll need to ditch that junk T-header and get one of the newest 2:1 that everyone raves about. Probably be best with a fatcat

Then sell that junk t-header to me. I'll pay shipping jk
But if you do go that route let me know

getting 100+/100+ out of a 98" isn't a big deal at all, even with the 509`s,but they defanatly would be my first (or second) choice for a 98" build
