Cam swap Blunder?

The diagram above is from andrews. The ".055 spacer" is indicated in the upper right corner. Two things, 1- could this be an integral "flange" built into the cam? The original design seems to be like this and didn't use any type of spacer. 2- the washer provided by andrews wouldn't fit on the onboard side of the bearing.

Max my original set up on my 02 is different from the diagram mark kindly shared. The way it came apart on the splined cam was roller bearing, spacer, sprocket. The washer or spacer in question is the same diameter as the thicker spacer. This would limit it to either outboard side of the bearing on the splined cam or the outboard side of the other cam. Possibly under the snap ring? The oem setup did not have a washer under the snap ring. The snapring went right against the bearing.

Yes. It seems as though what they refer to is what's pictured. I researched as much as possible, felt confident and closed her up. Love the cams btw. Thanks to everyone who weighed in. The information is much appreciated!
