Default Moisture in my oil?

After rebuilding my rebuild a few weeks ago, I have been hearing a little bit of a clatter. Seemed to be coming from the right side of the motor.

Today as I'm on my way to work I hear a kachunk and the bike lurches a bit. Turn around and go home. Get home from work and start tearing into it. Drain the oil, pull the exhaust and the cam cover.

I thought it might have been the cam chain tensioner. All looks good in there. I go to put the cover back on and see this. Not sure if I should be real worried or if it's just some condensation. The oil in the bucket looks ok, not milky.

Nothing to worry about. Just go ride the thing and be sure to get it good and hot. It'll take more than just a few minutes! Put about a hundred miles on it.

^^^^ this. Short rides will accumulate moisture and it needs to get hot enough to evaporate it.

So, Sgt.Mic, have you solved the noise! Need Rockouts? I'd have it checked out by a Pro, I wouldn't ride it, till I knew EXACTLY what the noises are. Don't risk a $100.- repair, for a $2,000.- repair? Good Luck!
PS, How was the rear cam tensioner? I'd look in the gas tank, with a strong flashlight, see if there's any fuel separation, caused by Ethanol?

Solved the oil issue, I must have not been wearing my glasses when I installed the head gaskets. I had the dowel pin holes correct, but the gasket was flipped 180 degrees. So the raised area to seal the coolant port on the bottom of the head was on the wrong side. So coolant was getting into the cylinder.

As far as the noise, nothing yet. Everything in the cam chest looked good. Drained the primary and the magnet had some metal on it. I figured maybe the comp gave up the ghost. Nothing there either.

I can spin the rear wheel through the gears and no strange noises. So tranny appears fine.

Ordered new lifters since I'm pretty sure the clapping sound I was hearing is bad lifter on the front. Not too often you hear about the standard S&S lifters being bad. It does happen.
