Maybe you should pull the rocker cover. I do know some guys have had issues with the springs hitting on the inside of the rocker cover. Also look to make sure you have enough clearance for the rockers as well....
You running the woods 555 cam? Usually a bolt in for 06 up heads so I don't think it should be an issue... What about domed pistons.?

I'm not sure on the cam's I night the bike used and the guy that I bought it from had moved away so I felt with his father And he did not know much about the bike. When I did the last top end they did regular 103

Brought the bike in to my local Harley shop and they said it was the new pipes I installed on my bike that was causing the strange noise. I ordered a quite baffle for the pipe and the noise went away. They sound much better also 👍
