Starting my acquisition of getting parts for my 107 that I have in mind.
So far the 103 heads with ACR's and had to get the harness that plugs into them. Have plenty of lifters, level B as well as HQ's Black Magic ones.
Thinking about getting the S & S 107 jugs and pistons kit.
My mechanic who is extremely knowledgeable is pretty good friends with Feuling and he thinks that the 543's would suffice and do well.
I currently have the 525's in and these were recommended by Frank Drago whose probably forgot more about bikes than I'll ever know, lolol.
Anyway looking at the numbers for the 543's they do look pretty good and Feuling's are probably under rated for the most part but there are a lot to choose from in the cam selections for baggers, and I ride 2 up the majority of the time. My wife likes to ride about as much or more than I do.
I don't know about how a person would rate Feuling cam specs,,,but a local Indy recommended installing 575 cams in a stock 96" Ultra with piggy back programmer and Cobra intake.
You have no idea how slow that combo was, my SGS, (yes, lighter), was easily quicker. I'm a heavy guy also.
I've been running 543 in my 107 for 3 years now. 105 torque/99 hp. Hammer Performance 107 kit & their Impact level heads. 2011 Roadglide, no complaints
I wouldn't use stock heads.i would also have your cylinders bored and use CP pistons.then have your heads done for a touring application, set compression @ 10.25-1 and go with T-MAN .625 cams.high 115+/125 (more if compression is squeezed a bit,but we`ve found this to be a very nice, reliable 107" touring build)

Here are the highlights from Fueling's website. What do the professionals here think? Is the 543 comparable to Wood's 555 or Andrews' 57s?
