If you have the $$, the HPI 55 is the best. A forward facing air filter like the SE Heavy Breather will help out as well.

My bIke was running in the 197 range w s&s 585 cam. Do stick compression releases in it, mine didn't have them. Let's just say I can nearly r&r starter clutches and ring gears blind folded. And changed battery's with oil changes nearly.

Ping wise, it doesn't like to be lugged but once the rpms are up only when have gotten total crap gas or its cranking on the 100o mark.

Could it be the OP can afford return shipping but is standing on principal WRT paying to ship back parts that were apparently not what he ordered? Personally, I would pay the return shipping and include a nasty letter with the parts just so I could move on but that's just me.........................

Listen to DJl. I have a 50mm SE on an all bore 107" Just had a new cam put in after 3 years and different muffler. Was going to go to a bigger a TB. He tuned it with the 50mm that I had. Did 130 TQ and 120 HP I believe he said. This was up from 116/112. You have plenty of TB for a 98"

Your right, I didn't choose the best wording. What I was getting at is I don't feel I should be responsible to pay to send anything backand I don't care if it's $60 or $20
