stock pipes have a tapered end and the gaskets are tapered, the aftermarket pipes are usually square flat ends and the gaskets are flat for those, if dealer did it not sure what they did, ive read posts were tapered gaskets were left in with aftermarket, but I don't think they would seal too good since the flat pipe end would only touch on an outside corner in the tapered stock gasket. maybe the dealer or who ever did your pipe would remember, I was just wondering it it is exhaust leak your hearing more than the crappy lifters, sounds like u still have lots of warranty time to burn up by the mileage. and if u did the lifters and any thing else goes wrong they will blame it on a superior s&s lifter
So in will go another replacement **** set of Harley lifters that will last for how long and possibly cause damage...
And whilst rockouts might be an improvement the dealer will not install them as part of the warranty work.
I have many HD dealers across the country installing Rockouts every day. Warranty doesn't seem to be an issue for them.
Talk to your dealer.

Any chance of paying the uplift costs and getting them to install aftermarket?
I'll call them tomorrow, but I doubt they will warrant anything aftermarket (although it's a lot better than what they are putting in)
If the cam is scored, I would really like to move away from this SE255 too. Whilst it may be great for a bagger, it's a waste on the lighter dyna. Runs out of puff to quick.
Unfortunately these engines are a paltry 9.2:1, so anything like a 259e isn't going to run too well.
They confirmed tank and rocker covers off. But I cant source any rocker stoppers within that time frame living in Aus. I'll probably do that myself as it seems straight forward.
One of the root issues with a CVO 110" lifter failure is the super-aggressive Comp Cams endurance springs used in those heads, loading the lifter tremendously.
AV&V Progressive Wound Springs tame that, with great valve control.
Installing a set today in a set of CVO heads today.
