Stalling 2008 FLSTC
I have a 2008 FLSTC with 40k on it. I bought it in 2012 with 4700 miles on it. The problem I am having is that it stalls sometimes while I am coming to a stop. This was happening just occasionally but now it happens quite often. There is no misfire or sputtering while riding. No more gas usage than normal. I can hold in the clutch while riding and the bike just stalls, but not all the time. The bike is stock except for the slip on Screamin Eagle mufflers. I change the TPS, the heat temp guage, spark plugs and wires, the cam/crank sensor and the Idle Air Control sensor. Bike kicks out no codes. I also changed the fuel cap. Took it to HD dealer. They had for 3 days and ran heat test and fuel pressure test and found nothing wrong. Told them they needed to ride 15 to 20 miles and it would stall. They said they did and had no problem. Got bike back and it stall within 20 miles of shop. When it stalls, I turn the ign. switch off for a few seconds, turn back on hit starter and I have no problems for what could be the next stop or the next day. I have talked to many HD techs and I leave them scratching their heads. Does anybody have any ideas that I haven't already tried, short of getting rid of the bike.

Thanks djl, I will look into this. HD techs just scratch their heads when I describe the problem. I should of stated that when it restarts sometimes it idles fine other times it kicks up to 5000 rpm. I have run bike down the road in 3rd gear without touching the throttle. I will check the screw and the VSS and see what happens. Wont do this until weather breaks and I get bike out of its winter bed. Thanks again.
