First of all I’ve been lurking here for some time lots of great information on this site and some awesome members.
So I got what I believe to be a great deal on an 103 upgrade package kit from my local dealer. Kit #27544-10A. Comes with 10:5 pistons, 259E cams, pushrods, gaskets, valvesprings, clutch spring and the now obsolete race tuner.
Dealer told me everything will work just fine in my bike. I’m on 2015 Fatbob with 103. But everything that I have found is on the heavier soft tails and touring bikes. I wanted to know if anyone else has put this in a dyna. And if so how did it turn out?
I have lots of questions.
That cam is should produce relatively similar results/ curve to an S&S 585, or Feuling 574 cam in a 103 at or near the same compression ratio. Try searching those to get an idea. Should be looking at near 100/105 results.
Yes I’ve been looking for a couple of weeks. I was hoping to get some feedback on using this kit in a dyna.
Also wanting some input on any other extra parts or accessory’s to make this a pleasant upgrade.
I was just wanting to some more uumph out the dike without sacrifice of drivability or reliability. If this can’t be done with my current parts that’s fine I’ll sell them off and piece something else together. I feel like I got a excellent deal on this kit is reason why I jumped on it before really researching it out.
