Default Softail Billet engine

I e-mailed R&R got no response as of yet. Are Billet engines made for all type of Harley's (ie Softail) or just touring models? Thanks.

I suppose that billet aluminum crankcases/heads can be manufactured for most any engine, with the proper equipment, and proper wallet.
Solid round Dura-Bar steel/ductile cylinders as well.

AFAIK and checking their website, they don't show any balanced 'B' versions, which suggests they make Softail Evos, but not twincams. It'll be interesting to hear what they say. You can always phone them!

You don't have to have a balancer in a Softail...many horsepower nuts remove them anyway.

Evo Softails don't, but twincam 'B' engines do, two of 'em!

Depends on how much you can handle the vibration.

We do not, repeat do not, remove the balancers from those.
Folks that have, wish they hadn't.
