first thing i would do is verify compression on that cylinder vs the rear. does the engine have adjustable pushrods?

Early Delphi injected touring models were known for breaking the wire inside the sheathing, somewhere in the first 5-6"s of wire at the injector, because there's a tie wrap that holds the wire snug, near the frame and the engine wiggling back and forth stresses the wire to fail. It looks fine, but if you pull/tug on the wire, it shows the internal break. You can cut that zip tie, and repair the wiring ( and maybe add a little extra for flex) and should be good to go.
