Cool M8

is it possible to do a motor swap on a 2011 road king 103 to a M8 ?
Can anyone point me in the right direction the shops around me won’t touch it say they’re to busy or it can’t be done

Just about anything's possible. Question is, do you have enough coin to make it happen...

Why take a step backwards? The TC is a way better engine.

Putting a M8 drivetrain into a 11 RK would require modification of the front part of the frame and probably a swap of the electronics. IIRC the 11 does not have can bus.

I have the wiring harness for the M8 as well so no problems there
I was looking at the front mount on the M8 and I can see the difference in it so if that’s the only difference in it I don’t see the major issues that all these shops around me have told me that it can’t be done. Thanks everyone for yalls input

Wink

I suspect a translation of 'can't be done' is 'we don't know of anyone who has done it'! Perhaps the Harley world needs a volunteer to have a go.....
