is it possible to do a motor swap on a 2011 road king 103 to a M8 ?
Can anyone point me in the right direction the shops around me won’t touch it say they’re to busy or it can’t be done
Putting a M8 drivetrain into a 11 RK would require modification of the front part of the frame and probably a swap of the electronics. IIRC the 11 does not have can bus.
I have the wiring harness for the M8 as well so no problems there
I was looking at the front mount on the M8 and I can see the difference in it so if that’s the only difference in it I don’t see the major issues that all these shops around me have told me that it can’t be done. Thanks everyone for yalls input
