a 98" kit with 585 cams will do these #`s no prob (we got very close #`s with a kit we sent to a customer in Ky with 10.0-1 compression & S&S 570 cams) make sure you get headwork done,it will be the key to achining the #`s your looking for
Old thread, but what combo do you have going on here? Ready to bump my little 88 up...Ive got an 04 FXDXI and running S&S 510 gear cams with thunderheader and air filter. Thinking 98 bore with 585ez cams. Debating if I wanna dump the extra for heads, I also dont want to get into compression releases. I like to just hop on and go.
Cyclerama 595 gear drive cams; CP 6cc dome pistons; 57mm Kury T/B; HD Street Performance heads and Bassani Pro Street exhaust with 11:1 static/212CCP. You might get those numbers with a different cam set but not without a very good set of heads.

Ran your current set up for 18 years.
And while I have no dyno sheet, I will say that going to 98" / Heads worked/ mild C/R increase / 570 cams , made a decided difference and was worth the effort and expense
