Default Quick Install Pushrods?

I have a 2017 Softail Slim S (110) that has 21000 km on it. Was thinking of installing S&S Quickee pushrods or maybe SE Tapered pushrods etc.? Would like to be able to change the lifters as a regular maintenance item. Possibly S&S Standards or Larry's 2313se lifters. My head is spinning with all the talk of Quickee's flexing or SE Tapers breaking. Is there anyone who can steer me in the right direction? Bike is stock except for Jekill & Hyde Exhaust, Oil Cooler and Love Jugs Mighty Mite fans.
Thanks!

Either one of those when installed correctly will work fine. The screaming eagle ones had some issues a few years back with the nut breaking...some old internet news never dies. Any brand of pushrod has flex...higher lift cam...high rpm will bring it on more. There was a whole thread on the subject of pushrod flex. I doubt the little bit of flex will change the true length of a pushrod enough to effect a stock or near stock motor. I've had screaming eagles in my bike for about 30k with no problems at all. S and s standard lifters are recommended by alot of the best builders on this site.

Is it a built engine? Unless it is, why are you considering lifters a regular maintenance item? I can certainly see on a built engine but if it were I would think you'd already have performance rods and lifters in it.

I just read over and over that the 110 is hard on lifters? I heard the profile of the SE-255 cam hammers the roller needle bearings in the lifters? I figured it is cheap insurance?
I even asked the Tech at Barnes Harley Davidson Langley BC when I should be worried about the lifters? He said 40000 km.

Heard it's not just the profile of the cam but also the springs have a lot more pressure than what's on the 103 engine?
I did say heard.

Wasn't laughing at you donhoe. I was laughing at the idea. SE255's have been commonly known as "school bus cams", around some performance related areas for some time.

The 110" heads have very high spring pressures, we have done lifters in a lot of them along with the rest of the stuff that commonly gets beat to crap.

OP, we have used no less than 50 sets of S&S Quickees here when building engines or doing cam upgrades with no issues whatsoever....
