Default Gear Cam info needed

I am switching from 510g to 570g cams. Is there a problem with reusing the inner and outer gears that are on the 510 cams by installing them on the 570s? Also when pulling the outer cam gear off it appears that the woodruff key on the inner side is not quite flush with the gear itself. Not sure if this is from removal, normal or even any thing to be concerned about.
Thanks for any help anyone

can provide

there should not be an issue re using the gears and just make sure that the key and the slots are good. double check all your runout and backlash measurements.

I reused my gears when I changed from 510G to 585G. No issues.

The key more than likely moved out a little on pulling as the back side of the gear goes up against the bearing when tight in place. If the key is still snug in the slot, I'd leave it where is is an put it on. Make sure there are any burrs on the key that might effect assembly. When you crew push the gear back on it will slide back into place. I've used the same gears on a number of different cams without issue. If you get one that seems to go on on a bunch easier than the others, I'd replace but I doubt you'll find any.
