So I've been looking into updating lifters this winter to the S&S Premium's, so as I'm reading up on them I go to the S&S site. For some reason they are not showing up any longer. Anyone one have any input on this ? did they discontinue them or something ?
They can't sell what they can't get. There may be a shortage of S&S lifters because Delphi has been on strike for the last 3 months or so. No end in sight. There have been rumors of them shutting down the operation.

Thanks for the input guys. So having looked at the link which ones are recommended being there are several to choose from ? Slow leakdown, Slow leakdown w/pin oiling, or the POSITIVE FLOW LIFTERS FOR IMPROVED TOP END OILING versions ?
I was leaning towards the S&S from the many great reviews. Not to familiar with the Larry's.
My symptoms are like many experience. Chatter at 2,000 - 2300 or so RPM, especially when running in hotter days. I've done the Rock outs, clearanced the upper ends of the tubes a bit, and run a high end 20W50 dino with high zinc content, which helped a great deal. But still get the chatter.

The S&S lifters are a good lifter but may be hard to get right now.
The Hylift Johnson's are also a good lifter. Forged body. Tight tolerances. You want the 2313SE's.
