Bought some James Gasket's for the top end rebuild and following the service manual for the step by step. The James Gasket's didn't provide any instruction on the orientation but clearly looks like there is a difference between each side on the Head Gasket. Have a call into James, but haven't received a response.
Anyone know if if the larger exposed metal should be facing up or down?
I don't think it matters but why those? I tried them once, not the head gaskets but the rocker box to head and I'll never use them again. That red silicone crap is...well crap. MLS gaskets are way better. I have no use for silicone of any kind anywhere near my motor. Just my .
