4, 124", 2, 131", and 1, 143" are currently being built here, as far as the larger engines go.

I completely understand that. I currently have a 95 inch setup. What I was wanting to know really was when it came time to split the cases and rebuild the crank, what options I had to add more displacement to the engine. I understand that I can go with an s&s 100 kit on my wheels and cases, but what do that when i could go with stroker wheels and a big bore and get far more torque and hp potential out of the stroker.
Its always been mu understanding that a shorter stroke engine with the same cid can will produce the same power as a longer stroke engine, but at a higher RPM, so effectively making less torque at the lower/midrange but more HP after 5250 RPM
I am a speed junky and I love acceleration. I ride mostly two up with my wife, her at about 140 and me about 200 on this superglide. It is still a relatively light bike with both of on it. Id love to see 130 hp and torque but that would have to be a stroker to get near that and it be rideable on the street. I know that can be done with a 98 but the power would come on very late, is what Im thinking. unless either you or Scott know something about making a 98" pull hard at the lower end and be able to pull like that up top as well? from what Ive been seeing is that with a well built 98 that will pull in the lower end, cruising rpm around 22-3000, im looking at topping out around 110-115 hp/TQ on the high side? Am i correct in this assumption? Or will stage 2/3/4 heads, 98 inch kit do that or more and be very street able with a more mild cam to keep the power band lower?

I recently built a 98" motor for my '05 FXSTD and it is making 115/115 which is pretty strong for a 98" motor. I have seen one other that makes more HP, less TQ but it was built for drag racing and not really suitable for the type of riding Clarkmac1985 describes. The dyno chart is over in the dyno chart section; first page about 3/4 of the way down. The little motor pulls hard off idle and is strong to the redline. Kirby and Scott can comment on the potential performance of a 98" motor but 120 numbers are going to be hard to hit; have to make more than 1.2TQ/HP per cubic inch.
