If I go with that S&S 110" kit, what kind of performance should I expect from that 585 cam? I am usually cruising between 2750 - 3150 rpms. I would say I am somewhat of an aggressive rider.
Headwork & bigger throttle body arent really in the budget right now. I was hoping this S&S 110 kit work would good for now, and even better down the line with head work / TB

bore existing to 107 with higher comp pistons
aoprox $700
head work approx $ 700 ( gasket kit included)
lifters under $ 200
cams and pushrods under$ 700
skip the fancy oil pump and cam plate
skip the kit
save money
better performance
do it once
plenty of proven builds using this approach
jmo
Getting a respectable specific output ( hp per c.i. ) is more important than the extra 3 cubes
again jmo

Can't agree more,a good 107 kit,585 cams,58mm t body & good headwork will do close to or above 120/120,they do here anyway
The right exhaust is just as important as headwork with those cams.
I'm pretty sure FM does a 107 with the 999-6A cams. This is the way I'm going when I get a bug up my *** to do a build. The 570s in my stock 103 is just a pacifier for a year or 2.

a good exhast is a big part of a well designed build, but is nowhere near (in importance) as good headwork.ant decent 2-1 pipe is fine, not just any headwork is fine
If you are are interested in the 110 kit we carry them in various forms; piston & cylinder kit only, complete kit, etc.. and we can put together a package with whichever cams, gaskets, you need. Our cylinders are supplied by S&S, and we have about a half dozen different piston compression/dome options to suit your combination. We also have Thundermax tunes we've developed for a wide range of 110 applications and we can supply a base map for your combination no problem, we're happy to do so regardless where you purchase the parts. If you need any assistance we can be contacted at 920-423-3309 or info@fuelmotousa.com
