I'm not up on cams for M8s but I'm going to be doing them for a guy I work with after beating him up with my 103 this past weekend. I'm a bad influence on him. ;p
Anywho, he's wanting a torque curve similar to the S&S 570s, Andrew's 57Hs. That sort of torque curve. He's currently running Rineharts but ditching those for something better. Most likely some Rush Big Louis if they're available.

Just one cam in an M8
There are a ton of threads in the M8 section on cams, and there is a lot that goes with it. What tuner are you going with?
He can keep the Rineharts and put some Fuel Moto inserts in them, M8s need a little back pressure for bigger torque numbers.
Popular torque cams are RS468, S&S475, Woods 22x
Thanks. I'll look up the specs on some of these. He's not looking for torque cams really but more middle of the road so to speak. Why I mentioned the 570s. I brought up changing baffles in the Rineharts if anything decent fits without too much trouble since he could kick himself for the $$$ he spent on them. Without getting into an exhaust debate would it be a fair assumption to say the reason for the thought these need back pressure is because of the cams normally run in them? Reason I say that is he really likes my 3" Rush slip ons with 2 1/4" baffles but I think he would need to go with the 4" Big Louies.
Anything need special attention in there? I haven't been in one yet and I'll have a fsm but any tips would be appreciated. Helps me plan ahead and a few of my mechanically challenged friends own one now so I guess it's time to learn. I'll read up on some threads here.
He's got FMs tuner.

No input on the exhaust, but maybe look at the Woods 22xe. Geared towards middle and top compared to the 22x.
I'll have a look at that one yet. One thing I noticed was the 22x and most of them for that matter, have a dip in torque around 3000 with FMs jackpot and MK45s. The 475s it's way down at 2000rpm and pretty minor. But that same exhaust had a dip with the 570s that I dont have with the Rush exhaust so Im
The 475s sound awesome and have a great idle that would really rock with the Big Louies and I think with the 2 1/4" baffles would be more than strong enough down low and really start to rock about 2800.
