TC Engine modifications
I have a 2006 Ultra with a CSC trike kit on it so I'm not considering high RPM power increases. I typically shift in the 3k to 3.5k range, most of my miles are on the highway and at 75mph am in the 3k RPM range. So far I've added S&S 551 chain drive kit with cam chest and oil pump, S&S tear drop air filter and new head pipes. My plan is to add an S&S 97inch big bore kit this winter and was going to do rocker lockers and new S&S spring and valve seals to the heads. I have 39k miles on the engine and had been toying with the idea of doing some basic head porting but am questioning the value in that, based on the bike and how I use it. I'm an old self taught wrench who drag raced a 56 Chevy with a 409 my brother and I put together in our dirt floor garage when I was a teenager so I know a bit about performance but have also gained some wisdom in relation to cost vs result. Any thoughts and suggestions are welcome.

Good cylinder head work, along with a good 5-7 angle precision valve job done in a seat and guide machine, will prove of value...yes.
