Default Delkron case/engine decoding

I need to know what kind of engine I'm dealing with, all I have for an identifier is a mirror imaged serial number. Lets start off with the serial number. It is DKM182467. I also have a trans that has this number D64H2731 and thats it no other marks anywhere. I tried the standard Google searches and spent some time here searching threads before I started asking questions, I swear! Any help would be awesome. I also have a frame without a single number or letter on it anywhere and it hasn't been cut up and sectioned or even had a grinder taken to it it would be nice to identify that too. These are the pieces that I have in my possession right now im having trouble with. I have milk crates full of new and used parts 4 sets of rims lights light buckets turn signal brake lights springer parts full front suspension parts etc etc etc. The man that owned all this stuff is recently deceased and from what I'm told the dream was two old school rigid bobbers 1 for him and 1 for his only son. The family(2 brothers) asked if I could help. I was there best option i guees because I'm a classic car guy with a passion for old heavy metal and fiberglass too. My motto is "if it has 4 wheels and an engine it deserves respect" 2 wheels now too apparently . Thanks again for the assistance. Motor trans frame and what I'm assuming is the carb and intake for that motor. Thanks again!

I would start with checking if that 5 speed tranny will bolt to that frame.

IIRC that sometimes required an adaptor plate IF the frame was 4 speed ( ? )

( some crazy oil returns going on there )

crazy oil return how? If your referring to the braided line in between the rocker boxes thats factory or if your reffering to the fittings in the lower end those are actually oil supply which are also factory. Listen fellas I'm just getting into building a bike I'm mechanical and I ride but as far as building , well thats brand new to me. My goal here is to finish what a good friend whom well as be my brother had a tragic death that has left him ****ed up for lack of a better term I'm just trying to lift my brother up with this build and was just lookin for a little help. Would paying for a subscription hit a donate button somewhere get me a little better traction as far as some help is concerned because I've got no problem with that! Let me know what would work best! Thanks to everybody and have a Merry Christmas!

Big T.

One thing comes to mind for me, before you get too deep into this project. Are you familiar with the laws for getting a custom built bike titled in your state? Be VERY aware befor you get too deep. I would make sure that i knew i would be able to get it title and registered before I move forward.
Once you know you can title it, then you can begin to piece it together. Most likely the state is going to do some kind of inspection and issue you a VIN number. Look in realy weird spots on that frame. Front crossmember, around the bottom of the rear down tube, there is probably something there that you are missing. Then get on the phone with aftermarket frame companies, find someone in customer service and try to send them pix and see if they can help. I'd try Paucho first. (dont know if I've got that spelled correctly)

All anybody knows at this point is Delkron cases with STD heads in a shovel configuration

Pretend it was a SBC with aftermarket block and heads.
Most would not know what was inside
Could be mild , could be wild
