Have the heads off and the front intake valve seal was shot so lots of soft and hard carbon
Before I pull the valves what is the best way to clean head Chamber and valve surface ,
Can i soak them , oven cleaner etc
If you want to use oven cleaner for doing it yourself, follow the direction and it will work, but the wife might just kill you for the smell your going to get in the house! Other than that there is not many chemicals today that you can buy that will get most of the carbon off. A good glass bead of the chamber is a great way to go if you can.
