Default Cleaning the heads

Have the heads off and the front intake valve seal was shot so lots of soft and hard carbon
Before I pull the valves what is the best way to clean head Chamber and valve surface ,
Can i soak them , oven cleaner etc

disasseble & glass bead the ports & chambers.very good time to check seats,vlaves & guides too

While the Head's are off do a Valve Job!

If you want to use oven cleaner for doing it yourself, follow the direction and it will work, but the wife might just kill you for the smell your going to get in the house! Other than that there is not many chemicals today that you can buy that will get most of the carbon off. A good glass bead of the chamber is a great way to go if you can.

Hahahaha 36 years of bliss

Two hours 3 boxes of oiley soaked and cleaned parts shes going to love the smell in her car

Off to the machine shop tomorrow morning
