2010 Dyna Wide Glide, 44000 miles. Starting to get an intermittent engine rattle from right side of bike, hard to tell top or bottom end as it's only ever there for a few seconds, but sounds like cam chest area. Maybe cam chain / lifters? Managed to grab a soundbite, anyone finding this noise familiar?

Thx
Hard to definitely diagnose a noise in person with a stethoscope much less an internet sound bite
its all just guessing & opinions until you pull the cam cover and visually inspect
A safe bet that something is amiss.
I would not wait until intermittent becomes constant
Not a good sound clip and as 8-8 says, very difficult to diagnose and could be a loose clamp or bracket as Yankee Dog says. However, "intermittent rattle from right side" would have me opening up the cam chest ASAP for a look see.
Thanks for all the responses, all outside stuff are tight and not rattling.
I have most of the tools needed for proper inspection except for one - is there any way to pull the Cam Support Plate without the little locking tool between the sprockets?

Yes, put the trans in first and lock down the rear brake. Those two fasteners are torqued to 25# and 35# and should not be hard to break loose; you can do the same when re-assembling.
