Default DK Stealth ExternalBreather Kit

So finally got around to installing DK's stealth EBK. I have the filter. Does anyone have any tips for hiding that thing under the fuel tank? I don't have a tank lift and I just can't see where I can fit that filter. I will lift the fuel tank up and support it with a piece of wood. Just looking for a good place where it won't contact throttle cables, etc. I want to avoid any rubbing. Any ideas? I am putting this kit on my 06 Wide Glide EFI

I didn't use a filter.. But did use about 2 1/2 feet of 1/4" fuel line and routed it forward and down along the frame and left it hanging to drip onto the street..
I don't think putting up under the tank is a good idea.. Too much moisture and oil mist... Messy...

That's a good idea. I've been messing around with my SG and haven't gotten back to this yet. I was either going to run the filter back along the frame and down by the trans, or go with what you did. I like the idea of no filter. I only had issues when I didn't pay attention to my oil level.
It will be nice to not have all that hot air and mess going into my intake. Thanks.

i like the look of the stealth one better than the 4 stage catch can but with my intake i had to go with the can one. anyway i digress. When i first had it i didn't have the can i just tapped the lines and ran a hose down the frame to right next to the oil pan and let it drip as it needed. The issue with doing that was it splattered all over my damn saddle bag, tire, and breaks. My oil was plenty low but damn it sent crap everywhere. Now that i have the can it hangs right below my carb and no oil comes out of it just air. so i think the pressure of the foam in the can keeps some of the oil at bay maybe but whatever the case its a lot safer to not have that oil spray on my tire anymore.

You say it wont fit under the tank easily what about changing the direction of the stealth pieces and having them go down instead of up? then you could situate it right there in the middle of the V area and it would still be pretty much not noticeable.

Thanks for the reply. I've mocked this thing up a few ways. I was going about it with the idea of the filter going up under the tank because my OCD doesn't want any more ***** hanging around the motor or pushrods. I went ahead and grabbed a few extra feet of fuel line and I am going to run the line down the frame and terminate it near the tranny with the filter at the end. I originally had the SE stage 1 air cleaner and backplate. I now have the DK support bracket and backing plate so I can re-use my air cleaner. I'll throw some photos up when I'm done.
