Default Damaged Crank Position sensor

I am new to the forum and was wondering if anyone can tell me what would cause my Crank position sensor to be damaged on the end thats inside the case? I have a 2006 CVOUltraClassicFLHTCUSE. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m guessing warped crankshaft/flywheel problem. Unfortunately your probably looking at a rebuild or replacement on the engine.

Well I can't think of something that would not require taking some things apart.
Did it cause the bike to quit running?
Any chance of a pic of the sensor?
Why did you pull the sensor ?

To answer the earlier question the bike started once and would not start again and I checked the codes and it said the sensor was bad so I pulled out to find out it looked like thid.
