Helps on oil cooling. Do I get cross thread points? That is serious carnage though.

This.

Reaper (2005 Night Train) developed a rod knock after over 217,000 miles on her original, unopened, bottom end last October. When she comes out of winter hibernation, she'll be sporting a 107ci engine with an S&S stroker crank, and Timken bearing upgrade. Once you have to split the cases, you may as well go all in, IMHO.
