Hi, I just pulled the trigger on fuel Moto's 110 pistons and jug as well as a set of S&S 89cc heads.
My bike is a 2014 street glide with a set Andrews 57H cams, how would this cams perform? I also have some S&S 585 cams new in box that I was going to put in another bike but ended up selling it before I installed them.
Would either of these be a good choice?
What is your goal with the build? If youre wanting low-midrange power, the 585s and 110 kit work pretty good with the stock heads. GMR performance posted results from that combo many times. The S&S heads have different combustion chambers and might or might not even be physically compatible with the pistons in the kit you bought if they have domes. Check with fuelmoto and make sure, if you dont know. They did have domed 110 kit pistons designed for S&S heads (outlaw kit) but I dont know if theyre still available.
The 57's with a 38° IVC are more of a low to midrange cam and would work better with the 89cc heads.. The 585's are mid to upper end cams with a 45° IVC and would probably need a smaller combustion chamber head to make them work.. Where do you want your power?
