trying to learn. yes I have a manual for my bike.
if timing marks on the cam and crank are lined up should all 4 pushrods be able to spin betweenthe fingers. bike been down over a week so definitely should be bled down. all other valves are closed but front exhaust valve is open. can a collapsed lifter cause my issue.
going to continue to dismantle but trying to learn along the way.
thanks for the replies.

With the crank in that position, the rear cylinder is TDC compression. Front cylinder 45 degrees BTDC exhaust.

Did you drag a magnet in the bottom of the cam case?

I have not used a magnet but did see a few small slivers of metal in the bottom of the cam case. I will remove the cam plate tomorrow.

Looks like fueling tensioners. Are they moving OK?

Is it possible you scuffed a piston? Rollers on the lifters? Valve stuck in a guide?

Check the rollers on the lifters.

Clean the inner cam bearing and make sure that they are all in place. Don't think it's a issue but check.

What does the inside of the pump look like? Scavenge side mainly.

Are the specks aluminum or steel?

Add: Pull the crank sensor. See if anything is stuck to it..

inner cam bearings are intact. pump looks fine and I will add pics. pic of crank sensor attached. I will also get pics of inside the cylinders as soon as my camera is charged.
