Default Over heating Ultra

Question. I have a ‘22 Limited that I changed the front lower fairings on. Doing so requires unhooking the radiators and all. Got it all back together and rode it twice and overheated both times even after adding coolant. Sounds dumb but when you unhook the hoses and get it back together do you have to bleed the air out of the lines? This is my guess as to why it’s overheating. My fans are working. I saw something online that said turn the run/stop on and then the ignition and pull throttle at least 50% and the fans will kick on. The instructions were not all that clear but I think he was trying to say open the fill bottle and slightly open the radiator cap to let the fans circulate the air out? How do you know when all the air is out. Thanks in advance.
