Default Chirping

I have a 2009 deluxe with a screaming eagle 103 upgrade. I have a steady chirping noise that starts a few seconds after start up. It seems to be in the lower front jug, not certain.
any thoughts on this matter?

Get a two ear mechanic's stethoscope from Harbour Freight (under $10) or your equivalent to that type store and at least pin point it.

The old screw driver method is too crude and standing and listening is really hopeless most of the times. Sounds travel all over.

Especially a chirp.

Now maybe the birds sound different over there. If it seems to be a rubber mount, hit it with a silicone spray. Should go away.

Might consider replacing it if it's loose but if it's tight and you know what it is, it's fine.

PS Rod, Welcome to the HDFORUM. Only as a suggestion by me as a USER, create another new thread over in the newmember welcome area to say hello.

Hope you enjoy the ride here as much as your Harley.

My shifter linkage heim joints would chirp a bit sometimes when the "Dry Lube" went away. Went to water resistant grease and it's much better.

Chirping could be anything from a lifter skating on a cam, failing inner cam bearing, head gasket leak, to an exhaust leak.

Check your heat deflectors on your front exhaust pipe for looseness.

Does it change or go away after things heat up after 15 minutes?
