sorry, that pic was just me showing a picture of a plug that I had lying around in my workshop that I stripped just for illustration.
What part makes you say that it's way too rich?

The really dark areas...
The mid-range looks okay...
The reason why you have really dark areas there is because the combustion temperature is really isn't reaching what it should be to be efficient.. When it does tech proper temps it won't leave that much of a deposit on the porcelain and running rich causes a cooler combustion temp. You got to remember too that the spark plug is what really cools down the combustion chamber it travels through the porcelain and up the atmosphere so don't ever put any kind of cover on your spark plug it only holds a heat in longer...
