Default 1996 Road King FI leaking fuel line

I am at a standstill on my1996 road king. Any tricks on how to get the high pressure line to stop leaking? I’ve tried every o ring that I sourced local including ordering them off internet

Simply replace the fuel line, it is 28 years old.

You report having a 1996 Road King with Fuel injection.
If it is fuel injected then it would be M & M fuel injection with an EVO motor.
I am taking a wild guess that you are referring to the two fuel lines under the tank.
What brand of fuel lines did you purchase?
Can you describe location of leak?
How long have you owned the bike?
What else have you changed?
*Reason: Generally the aftermarket Goodridge HDFL005 is suggested.
*Nice to know if for some reason the little fuel line valves at tank were removed or you cross threaded new fuel lines.
The link below is a parts finder. It makes it easier to provide part numbers and names.

The leak is on the male threaded flare into tank. I have had the bike about 20 years. Leak started and I replaced the o ring on flare. That stopped it for about a month , then it started leaking again. Ordered orings and replaced both of them. One on check valve and one on fitting. It hasn’t stopped leaking since. It is the MM fuel pump and it is the high pressure line that leaks. Not sure of brand lines order through eBay.

Just to make reading easier:
You have owned the bike for about 20 years. 1996 Road King with Fuel injection.
Leak at tank side of external fuel line. Leak at ONE of TWO lines. High pressure line leaking.
You replaced the small O-Ring at flare end of fuel line.
Very unusual that leak stopped...Reason: Most times if the the factory fuel line leaks the leak is at the swivel near the tank. A non-serviceable part.
I am familiar with the factory lines and the Goodridge brand lines.
You really need to identify the lines that you currently have installed...Goodridge lines are silver, braided metal and flared end is serviceable.
Reason: The goodridge lines are serviceable but the factory ones are not.
You also need to identify the actual location of leak...The flared end assembly is different on the Goodridge unit vs factory unit.
When you state "I replaced"...does that mean you or a mechanic?
The check valve is rarely touched and requires a homemade tool or a specialty tool to remove..What exactly was serviced....*The parts link helps to identify parts.
Reason: The fuel lines are very easy to cross thread because the bung hole seems to be a welded piece and is generally not plumbed straight so the threaded part can be at a slight angle.
Many folks have forced the threaded flare and crossed threaded.

Default 1996 Road King fuel leak

Worked on it myself. Been turning wrenches most of my life. The lines are factory replacements and both lines were leaking at swivel. Pretty sure it’s not cross thread as you can thread it up by hand. How are the goodridge lines serviceable?

The Goodridge HDFL005 lines are viewable if you conduct a google search.
It comes as a TWO line set.
Generally less expensive than factory.
The Goodridge HDFL005 fuel line metal flange part that connects to the tank is held by a "c" clip to fuel line. Kinda sorta like a hydraulic line.
The Goodridge HDFL005 unit is serviceable because that flange part can be removed and o-rings replaced IF it leaks at the swivel.
The original factory units do not permit replacement of o-rings within swivel.
Where your "replacements" factory NEW ?
Take a moment to re-read information provided...I try to go into detail but it seems like you were unsure of line brand before and it is still up in the air if you did or did not remove the check valve.
Based on the information shared it is reading like your problem is the fuel line.
To be a little more clear...If it leaks at the swivel end closest to fuel line and not above then problem is the actual fuel line and the original factory unit is not serviceable.
*Are the factory replacement lines acquired BRAND NEW?
Reason: Some folks try to sell use lines but used lines do not respond well to movement at the swivel because the old dry o-ring inside moves and causes a loss of seal .
