When I hear that an engine is guzzling oil, but compression is good and leakdown is good, my first guess is an error in computing oil consumption.
I`m not a big fan of leakdown testing (on a simple 2 cylinder air cooled engine), I think a compression test is at least as good, but neither tells you how much compression you have when the engine is actually running.
