Default Adjustable stabilizer link

Just looking for feedback from anyone who’s done this mod and changed out their fixed length engine stabilizer linkage on their touring bike.
Did it make a difference? Which linkage did you get?
im not having issues per se but do feel instability when rounding some corners at higher speeds. Could just be the nature of a bagger, or could it be due to alignment issues??
Curious…

Try one of these rear stabilizers that are fully adjustable. It made a noticeable difference on my bike. Not only do they work, they are not expensive. Alloy Art

Do the rear mount links accomplish the same thing as the front mount?
They seem to be similar in price but have to bolt up to an existing part (starter mount) not sure how keen I am to do that.
The front adjustable just replace the oem non adjustable.

You can align the engine with either mount. The rear mount keeps the engine centered while cornering and does not allow the swing arm to move around like you are describing.
There are several of us on the forum running them on the rear and I have never heard anyone say that it does not improve what you are describing. The front mount allows adjustment but does not hold the back of the engine and swing arm secure.

Thanks, I appreciate the input. My bike tracks dead straight (hands free) just gets a little unstable in hot cornering. Maybe the rear linkage is exactly what it needs. Or slower corners….
thanks again

I replaced the stock stabilizer link on my 2011 Ultra with the HD chrome version (HD #16213-10). The original stabilizer link was worn out.

I installed the "Rack and Pull- Missing Link" on my 14 SGS a while back because my OEM stabilizer link was worn out and sloppy. Between that and rebuilding my worn out swingarm pivot shaft and bearings, it handles SOOO much better in the mountain twisty's, which is where I live. I saw some cheaper Chineseium ones on eBay and Amazon, but went with this one after seeing all of the videos. Here are a few, but there's more if you search.......

This will likely get me burned at the stake but found an over seas version that looks identical to the alloy art. Considerably less $ and easier to obtain than navigating the current tariff storm. I’m curious and going to order it and have a look. Can always return it if it’s crap!

Im curious what Harley did differently starting 2014 to give them the confidence to ditch the adjustable links and only use the single solid link haha. I could understand removing the lower engine case mounted link since they went to the dual motor mount style so there is no longer any side to side adjustment, but the vertical alignment could still be off right?

Just following up on the non USA stabilizer I bought. Looks every bit as well made. Install was seamless. Can’t reuse your heat deflector with either stabilizer unless you modify it to fit around the frame mount portion of the stabilizer (I did)
Haven’t road tested yet but so far I’m impressed.
Cost me $60 cad to my door instead of $170 US excluding shipping/ duty etc.
