Hello all, I am going to install a Rocker Locker in my Rocker Box on a 2014 FLHTK Ultra Limited due to a ticking sound. My bike is liquid-cooled, and I have the repair manual for it. According to the manual, I need to drain the coolant before disassembly. My question is, is there a way around draining the coolant? Also, any other suggestions regarding the Rocker Locker install would be appreciated.

If your kit is one of the countless copies of my original PATENTED Rockout rocker shaft insert kits, please ask whoever sold it to you. If it's one of my Rockout kits, please go to the installation instructions section on my website, this question is specifically addressed.
My bike is a '14 Limited Low, I've had that front cover off countless times & never drained a line.

Since you only need to remove the upper rocker cover, just work around the coolant lines. I think what you are reading is they tell you to drain the coolant for a top end disassembly. You're just removing the upper rocker covers.
You mention you are using Rocker Locker brand, here is the video from DK Customs explaining the installation. Easy enough.
