front cilinder is not working at idle

I got an 1982 iron headsporter, 1000 cc. The front cylinder is not working at idle, but as soon as I hit the gas it starts working well, I check for leaks on the carb intake and leaks on exhaust and I fix it, but the front cylinder still not working at idle. The carb is working fine, both sparks are getting the correct amount of energy, so I don’t know what can be happening with this front cylinder, any help will be appreciated

Have you checked your valve lash (CLEARANCE) on both valves on your front cylinder?

compression check might be a good thing to look at too.

If shes getting gas and spark she should fire,, the next the check would be compression and valves.

has to be compresion,like earlier post,either p/rods adjusted too tight,or leaking valve seats.when motor is reved,piston is moving faster allowing engine to build compresion before it bleeds off
