Default Heat shield question

My first Harley is a 2005 Super Glide. When I bought the scooter it had forward controls, still has the heat shield for a Super Glide which has a cut-out (and a crack) for the mid controls. I found a set of Wide Glide heat shields (no cut-out) on ebay. I took the old heat shields off and the new ones fit and look great.

Not here is the very basic question - are heat shields from the factory attached with common hose clamps? That's what held the old ones on and just wanted to make sure before I install the new ones.

Thanks!

Plain screw-type hose clamps. I'd go with stainless.
After a couple of heat/cool cycles, check for tightness.

+1. They'll constantly loosen up on you.
