Default Exhaust Bolt Stuck
The exhaust bolt on my 2007 Sportster 883 sheared off and I need to replace it, but it is stuck in my engine block. How can I get this thing out? Any tricks?

If the bolt threads are accessable you could try a vise grip on it after soaking the threads for a couple of days with a good penetrating oil.
If its broken off flush the only way I know of is to drill a hole in it and use an EZ-out.

I recommend PB Blaster to spray on the shank and let it soak in for a few hours before trying to remove it again with an EZ-OUT etc...Stuff works pretty good.

Thanks guys. I tried double nutting it and some penetrating lubricant and vise grips with no luck. I was on the road in NJ from NC, so I needed it taken care of fast. I took it to Liberty HD in Rahway, NJ and they took care of me. The service guys said it took welding a nut on 3 different times and heating up the stud to cherry red to finally get it out. I appreciate all the help.

That's certainly a good way to get it out ! That joker musta been froze in place bad ! Glad to hear you are up and running again.
