Default Throttle Body Noise

I have about 600 miles on a 103 kit where it touched up the heads and valves, added Dave MAckie Cams and a PM Super Gas Air Cleaner. I am noticing a lot of butterfly noise coming frmo the intake manifold that I did not hear before the upgrades. I realize its sucking more air due to the modifications but should it be making a lot of noise? Thanks Chris

I see this is a month old, but oh well.

The cams are likely a bit louder than stock and the air cleaner will let more air in and more noise out.

Although it would mess your tune, you can test this by putting the old AC back on for just a quick run.

Or get to an experienced tuner you trust and ask their opinion. May be okay or may need some attention.

Good luck.
