Looking for advice. I just installed short shots on my FLSTFB and my heat shield is very close to my running board bracket. Anybody else install these and have a problem. Not sure I double checked shields and pipe install. Everything tight. Not sure what else it could b. it seems the last time I adjusted the heat shield it was a little away went for a ride and it must swell cuz when I got home from the ride it seemed to touch again I thought it might have moved but when it cooled down it was away a little again confusing

 

I just installed the same pipes on my 2012 Fatboy Lo, and had the same issue. They fit snug, but I haven't noticed any problems.

 

Are you able to pivot the running board or does it hit the heat shields?
