Rear Cylinder Heat Problem
I have an 2008 Ultra Classic. 96" engine. 25,000 mi. I changed out the exhaust system with V&H true duals, V&H mufflers, V&H V02 air intake and filter. V&H fuel pak. Bike has ran great in this configeration for 20,000 mi. I just completed a 1800 mi trip. The last 900 miles my fuel mileage changed from 45mpg to 36 mpg. And I noticed heat discoloration on my heat shield on the rear cylinder where it connects to the cylinder, and on the front part on the left muffler. (same cylinder) My question is should I be concerned about heat damage to the cylinder and how can I tell if it is running to hot.
