Default No Spark Help Please!!!!

I have a 2001 UMC (Ultra Motorcycle Corp) Ground Pounder Chopper w/113 CI motor 5 Speed I just traded for. It started fine and drove fine until I put in new gas (Shell 91 Oct) after filling up I was driving home all was fine then backfire and motor started chugging and died. I could restart but it would only idle and rev if I put in gear and tried to ride chugging and backfiring.
Finally got the bike home and noticed gas pouring out the carb overflow tube pulled the bowl off and the Float needle was dislodged from the seat. Put back together and tried to fire and nothing, motor turns over but there is no spark that I can confirm after pulling plugs to check. With Ignition switch turned to on I have no power to Coil (do not know if this should have power without turning over or not). At this point I am open to suggestions and help.

Thank You in Advance for any help.
