The 2007 bike is a TC96 and your 2002 is a TC88 and those parts AFAIK are not a straight swap. You will get better replies if you post in the Technical forum, where our engine gurus live. If you take a look around over there you may even find an answer yourself.
Should if you get different pistons or use the ones in your 88. 96 and 88 have the same bore only difference is the stroke. I have never done it but my educated guess is they will. I am looking at a 08 top end for my 88 only real difference is the 08 up has the two holes above the exhaust mount for the later frames with the front engine mount.
