Default Replacing rocker cover

I searched a few threads but couldnt quite find the answer i was looking for. Just had some work done on my bike, got it back and realized there's a crack in the upper rocker cover. I want to replace it myself. Now if I take just the upper cover off, can I get away with only changing out the upper gasket when doing so? All those gaskets were just replaced days ago.

Should be fine. I have pulled mine numerous times while trouble shooting a problem and no leaks ever.

You will be fine on just the upper gasket. I would be raising hell with who ever worked on it. But for 42 years of none stop riding I do all my own work including but not limited to machine work. Why as I do not trust any one else to do it right. I had a HD dealer work on mine 2 times while on the rode. One was a service in Fairbanks Alaska and they could not even get the right the other was in Janesville Wisconsin because I had a slit in my tire and the messed my pipe up as most shops do not take the mufflers off to get the axle out and jut push done on them which will and has crack a pipe. Was not leaking before the but the tire on and when I got about 400 miles down he road sure enough I had a cracked header pipe which I replaced when got home. Next time I will have my tire spoons with me. LOL
