Exhaust questions
Here is what I have:
I have a 2009 Street Glide.
I have a 2010 header with a power pack in place of the cat.
I have the stock headers (which are open - no cat). These are pipes I have been running.
I have a dual RUSH exhaust setup.
I plan to run a power commander, and open up the intake this winter.
Here is the dilemma:
I'm considering running a single sided exhaust. Should I cut up the stock exhaust and block off the cross-over by welding it shut? Or, should I just make a cap?
Also, if I plan to run a PC auto-tune down the road, does the location of the oxygen sensors matter? I can't think of a reason they do with a single carb, but don't want to assume that.
Ideally, I would like to end up with 2 setups. One that is a single sided system with the option to run auto-tune, and one that is a dual setup that has the option to run auto-tune.
What setup makes the most sense?
PS - I have an option with a local shop to tune with a dyno.
